Art Applewhite rockets must be amongst the strangest designs, but they all look good and perform well. The Qubit is a rocket made from 3 faces of a cube with the motor mount installed pointing towards the common vertex. They are constructed almost entirely from foamboard, making them rigid but lightweight. Three edges at the rear have a design cut out from them, which causes the rocket to spin.
